| Course Structure |
This programme is designed for graduate level students who wish to achieve an entry qualification and credit towards MBA programme. The programme will also appeal to individuals with relevant employment experience and management skills who need to raise awareness to the knowledge of Business Management.
The Level 7 Diploma in Business Management (Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management) is awarded by the Association of Business Executives (ABE), a UK awarding body recognised by the UK regulatory bodies. |

| Course Content |
The students have to complete the following five compulsory modules:
- Strategic Business Management and Planning
- Management of Financial Resources and Performance
- Leadership, Change and People Performance
- Corporate Strategy, Governance and Ethics in the Global Environment
- Research Methods and their Application to Marketing

| Entry Requirement |
A student must fulfil at least ONE of the following criteria to be allowed entry onto the programme:
- Possession of ABE’s Level 6 qualification in Business Management or Business Administration
- Possession of an honours degree in a related subject
- Possession of a Level 6 qualification from another internationally recognised awarding organisation
- Five years senior management experience

Assessment Methodology |

Each unit requires two pieces of assessed work:
- an examination, which is externally marked by ABE: and
- an assignment, which is internally marked by the College or by Management Approaches and moderated by ABE.
Both pieces of assessed work are marked out of 100 and both pieces of assessed work carry equal weighting.
Students will be given a mark each time a piece of work is assessed. To pass the unit requires a pass mark of 40% or above in both pieces of assessed work. |

English Language Requirements |

- IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
- Students have an IELTS score of 5.0 are required to attend an extra 3 to 6 hours of English language tutorials per week for one semester along with the main course of study.
- Students applying after 21 April 2011 are required to demonstrate that their English language proficiency at a minimum of Common European Framework Reference (CEFR) B2 in all four components, e.g. a minimum of IELTS 5.5 in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking components as published by UKBA.
